Hi,

I am calling a stored proc in my VB project using ADO.  If the stored proc
generates an error, how do I retrieve that error message (description)?

I already tried printing out the error object from the ADO Connection error
collection.
The description field is always empty.  I can only get the err number.
Please help.

I don't remember the syntax but you should add an event of OnExecuteComplete
to your datasource and there you have EventStatus you can query and you can
get the description. You database should rise-error.

It's not a full answer but I hope it will give you a direction.
