Hi,

Is there a way to connect to an sql trough the internet?

Ultimately the internet is just a TCP/IP network nothing more nothing less.
Yes you can connect. How? It really all depends on what firewall stuff may
be in place.

In general... if you can ping UDP port 1434 and the TCP/IP port that the
server is running on you should be able to connect using at least standard
authentication.

Thanks Brian,
We both (the two computers) are running
server2000 and sql2000. If possible could you be more specific,
some more detail? I'm just a beginner.
