Perhaps you can check on EXEC or sp_ExecuteSQL. See details in
SQL Server Books Online.

Dave,

Do please read about dynamic SQL n Books OnLine, and don't miss an excellent
article by Erland Sommarskog "The curse and blessings of dynamic SQL" at
http://www.algonet.se/~sommar/dynamic_sql.html.

transact sql equivalent of watcom sql statement
Hello,
I am converting a watcom sql stored proc to a tranact sql
stored proc. In my watcom proc I have an 'exec immediate'
statement that executes a sql statement stored in a string
passed to the stored proc. it looks something like this:

execute immediate newline

where newline is a varchar being passed to the stored proc
that contains a sql statement. my question is, what (if
any) is the transact sql equivalent of this. Thanks all.
