amal #1 / 6	(urgent)Sending mail automatically Hi everybody .. I am writing a web application using Visual Interdev & SQL 6.5 . I need to send e-mails automatically on certain dates (stored in the database) . Can anybody tell me how I can do this using SQL stored proceadure & which command I can use for sending the mail. syml.. #2 / 6	(urgent)Sending mail automatically Sql Server contains a MAPI compiliant mailer. Look in BOL under SQLMAIL. There has been varying amounts of success using it though from people in the newsgroups. If all else fails , do as i do and use a dos command line SMTP mailer. Marc #6 / 6	(urgent)Sending mail automatically I have written a commandline tool to send email thru smtp, it's about 300Kb and it writes me messages when an alert occures in the performancemonitor.
