keeping users from seeing DTS packages

keeping users from seeing DTS packages
Using SQL 7 and SQL 2000, I'm trying to keep normal users from seeing DTS
packages in EM. I heard you can deny access to "sp_enum_dtspackages" in
MSDB, but how does one do that via Enterprise Manager?

TIA!

In enterprise manager, go to msdb, right click on the stored
procedure and select All Tasks -> Manage Permissions.
You can deny execute permissions from a stored procedure
here. You can also revoke (or remove) the default execute
permissions to public on this stored procedure which may
make more sense if they aren't defined as users in the
database.

JJ,

Both SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000 support assigning a password on DTS
packages. Additional information about password protecting a DTS package can
be found in the SQL Server Books Online.

When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which
can be cut and pasted into Query Analyzer is appreciated.
