Compare Table against Full Text Indexed Table

We are seeking to compare three fields in one table that
has about 5 million records in it against a field in
another table that has around 6000 records in it.  Because
we want to break down the field in the 6000 table into its
parts and put nears between them we want to take the 5
million record set and make it a Full Text indexed table.
The only way we have found to compare the entire 6000
recordset against the 5 million record set is by looping
through the 6000 record set and inserting the results into
another table when the two match.  Does anyone know of
another method of comparing the full text index against
more than one value at a time?

Thank you in advance for the help
Fred
