torn page detection and upgrade from SQL server 7.0 to Sql server 2000
HI,

SQL Server 7.0 SP4 on NT 4

I red on BOL 2000 that de default value for Torn Page Detection option is
TRUE
I red on BOL 7.0    that de default value for Torn Page Detection option is
FALSE

Actually, our 7.0  DB have Torn Page detection option value equal to FALSE

When we will upgrade to SQL Server 2000,  what will happen to our DB Torn
Page Detection option ?

Thank you

Danny

torn page detection and upgrade from SQL server 7.0 to Sql server 2000

Whatever the status present in version 7 database,
will be carried over to version 2000 after upgrading the
database. If it is false before upgrade, it will false
after upgrade.
