How to set cursor timeout ?

How to set cursor timeout ?

problem: SQL Server closes cursors after a while on serverside -> producing
an error if I want to fetch more data from the same cursor.

question: is there a parameter or an sp_configure command to switch off this
behavior or at least to increment the timeout?

Cheers Eric
