LONDON - Sybase or SQL Server DBA's - To ￡60,000 + Bonus
Specialist Infrastructure group of this leading American Investment
Bank requires degree calibre Sybase or SQL Server DBA's.
Ideally you will have obtained at least 2 years Sybase or SQL Server
DBA experience (latest versions preferred) within a Unix
(SunOS/Solaris) or NT environment respectively, along with some of the
following: Unix Scripting, Configuration Control, Performance Tuning,
NT Administration, Replication Server, Stored Procedures, Triggers,
Design ( Logical and Physical) and T- SQL.
Supporting the business functions your role will include internal
consultancy, database design, development & production support and
centre of excellence activities.
Part of the groups function is to keep the Bank on the leading edge of
new technologies. The group is currently investigating the advantages
of Object Databases (i.e. Versant, ObjectStore, and Poet), and in some
areas have already implemented Object Database solutions.
Cross training will be given to successful candidates.

Salary: To 60,000 + BB's + City Bonus
