 Comparing tables in separate dbs

Hi there,

I would like to create a function in a DTS pkg to compare
a table that exists in an Access db with another table
that exists in a SQL 2000 db.

When I invoke the Query Builder it only has tables from
one db or the other. I would assume that there is a way of
building a join query accross two dbs.

Signed..........Not Feeling Too Smart Today! :)

Thanks in advance.

To compare Access to SQL Server you can

1.  Import Access into SQL Server and compare
2.  Use linked Servers or OPENDATASOURCE() to connect to Access and compare
from there
