SQL Server 2000 and SAMBA 2.2.x unified logon

Hi All:

This is an integration issue.

I have a TECH domain which is run by a SAMBA  PDC. I have 50 users/50
computers running on it.

I have a Windows NT with SQL Server 2000 installed on it. This SQL
server belongs to a ADMIN domain which is run by Win NT PDC.

Now If i move SQL Server machine to the TECH domain will the users
from the TECH domain be allowed to be added as users on to
MSSQL-SERVER 2000? Are there better solutions that this like LDAP???
Any poitners would be helpful.

What I am trying to do is to port from Win NT to SAMBA because the
client I work for cannot afford to upgrade to Win 2K server.

Thanks
