 Offline FT Searching on CD-ROM
I would like to know if there is a way to use a FT catalog offline on a
CD-ROM?

I doubt it, but if you hack into the mssearch service and com objects you might
be able to do it.

you can do this with Indexing Service.

I will try in the next couple of days; but it is possible; however, the
database id and lots of other stuff would need to be the same - essentially
you would copy the catalogue files (see KB article Q240867.
