 Comparison between Sql server 2000 and other e-BI tools like Business Objects and others
We want to do web based reporting for data analysis
Can anybody tell me how is Sql Server 2000 for this purpose ?
(DTS and OLAP Services -- Does it supports  web based interface)
(Or any way for doing that)
Can i get technical comarison list with other BI products

Any help on this topic will be really appreciated,

    Analysis services has HTTP support in the Enterprise Edition. But
reporting is another issue and I am not sure what you are looking for
exactly. You can find details about these in the Analysis Services web site
or BOL or MSDN.

SQL Server 2000 is not a front end application.

Depending of what you need a professional product such as Microstrategy, BO
and Cognos are good for you. high price, but high capabilities.

Also you can use ProClarity, Crystal enterprise and OLAP Hub (netexs.com),
more closer to Analysis Services.

If you prefer, you can develop your own reports, maybe statics reports in
ASP.

You can choose your prefered solution at the better price for your budget.
