How can I ask user in a script

'are you sure that restore database?'
if answer = yes
restore .... etc.
else
quit

Chris,

If you by script mean TSQL script, the answer is: You cannot. SQL Server is
a backend engine, and it cannot prompt users etc. That is up to the client
app. Perhaps Windows Scripting Host, VB or similar?
