 Not enough memory error.

Dear All,

I am facing a problem. I got an error "Not Enough Memory", when I am
browsing a pivot table which is connected OLAP cube (SQL 7, SP2).

This cube contains of 10 Actual DImensions, which is Region(Aprox 100 recs),
Time, Product (aprox 600 recs), ModelNo, Type, Series, Chasis, Screen Size,
Category and Sub Category.

A part from Region and Time Dimension, the rest of the Dimension table are
FROM THE SAME TABLE called "Product" because these are propertise of
product.

When I browse the data with

Page slicer : TIme = 2001 Apr

Column header : Region (3 levels), Type , Product

Row header : Approx. 15 measures (included 3 calculated measures)

I got an "Not enough memory" error return. My memory is not fully utilise
yet.

This pivot is running from the server with Win2000 server, SQL 7 SP 2, 1 Gb
Memory and 1 GB Harddisk space.

Do you have any idea what is the problem ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Eliz.

 Not enough memory error.

Hard to tell from here, but I think the error was from the client
side.  You may want to monitor the memory usage on your client
machine.  Plus... check out this KB (Q211517) as well.

 Not enough memory error.
Dear,

FYI, I am running this process from the SERVER machine.

I also explore Excel Pivot table limitation. I really doubt that it hit the Excel2K limit, bec' I have only 20 columns and 830 rows before added the last Dimension which is TYPE dimension with only 3 values, single level.

Thank you.

Eliz
