Add domain users to SQL server

Add domain users to SQL server
I have two new SQL 2000 servers that I have brought on
line.  These 2 servers will be taking the place of two SQL
7.0 servers; each server will have multiple databases that
all users on my network (300 +) will need access too.
My question then is there an utility that will allow me to
import all users from my NT 4 domain with having to add
them each individually.  All of my databases use NT
authenication when logged on to.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Lee

Add domain users to SQL server

Create a Windows NT group with the required users & add the group the
SQL Server instead. Adding users individually to the database is not a good
idea.

Add domain users to SQL server
Hi Lee,
If your SQL7.0 servers already have all these NT logins, just upgrade your SQL 7 to SQL 2000. As Uma
points out in his post, it is a very good idea to create an NT group and place all logins which need
access to SQL in this group. This will be easier to manage when the number of NT logins shoots up.
