Hi!

When you're writing an sql statement in the Enterprise Manager, is there
a hotkey to execute that query? I've search the help file but I didn't find
it...

Ctl+E or F5 in SQL Query Analyzer.

Nothing in the Query Builder on EM.

How do you write a SQL statement in Enterprise Manager?  Do you mean after
you've done a select / select top directly from a table, and you change to
SQL view?  Use Query Analyzer instead.  More powerful, less of a resource
drain, more customizable, plenty of diagnostics to accompany query results,
tons of other advantages, and you can hit F5 to execute a query...

My first guess "CTRL + R" worked for me.

Look at the topic SQL Query Analyzer, keyboard shortcuts

Zoury,
In Enterprise Manager, to execute a query in Query Designer press CTRL + R.
I too have looked extensively for this answer. Microsoft includes a great
many keyboard shortcuts for navigating in Query Designer, but fail to
mention menu shortcuts. Besides it is better to use Query Analyser for
routine work.
