 Wininet.dll, extended procedure, SQL Server
Hi,

Does anyone know why Wininet.dll functions are not working
in SQL Server. Is there any chance that I'm doing
something wrong, or is just that is not possible to make
the Win32 Internet functions work as extended procedures
in SQL server.
I'm trying to find a way to do 'Ftp' without using shell
commands. Please tell me if there is any other way that I
can use.

Thank You,
Regards
Elena

It should work, it is just code, the question is if WinINet is wise to use,
since Microsoft does not support WinINet as a server side API only a client
side API, but that is a separate issue.
I have seen even a sample from somebody which I can no longer find which
does an FTP using WinINet.
