Please Help: Need SQL Server ODBC client v3.60.x to correct a date problem

The ODBC driver (SQLSRV32.DLL)  that I have for SQL Server 70 is listed as
v3.70.x.  Using it with our app written in smalltalk and SQL Server 70SP2,
date data is not being sent properly.  When running the same app with SQL
6.5 (uncertain about version of ODBC client), we encountered no problems.
We found a workstation that had SQL Server ODBC client v3.60.x and the app
ran fine with data in SQL v70SP2.  We are unable to find a way to locate and
install this version of the ODBC client on other client workstations.  I
have scoured the web and cannot find it.  We are not sure how it was
installed on the workstation mentioned above.  That client had MS Visual
Studio installed and it may have come from there.  So far the best we've
been able to do is to peform a partial, custom install of the copy of Visual
Studio and only select SQL Server ODBC but we get a lot of extra files
written to the client's hard drive anyway.  But this version of SQLSRV32.DLL
is 3.50.x and it generates some other errors.

The initial problem seems to be that with SQLSRV32.DLL v3.60.x, date values
are sent in the following example format:  '20000602  00:00:00.000'.  With
SQLSRV32.DLL v3.70.x, date values are sent as {ts '2000-06-02
00:00:00.000000'}.  Any help will be appreciated!
