truncated output from sql server 7 using cold fusion to output

I have stored a very large entry in a text data type field, in SQL
Server 7.

I am using .cfm page to look at the document, using a stored procedure
to select
the data.

The document is larger than what is being shown -- it cuts off at 65,000
chrs.

Is this due to DBTEXTLIMIT  ?

I have even tried to do "set textsize 100000" within the stored
procedure while
selecting the data, but this doesn't solve the problem.

If it is the DBTEXTLIMIT, how do I reset this (default is supposed to be
"off")

it is a ColdFusion limitation

CF4.5 allows you to increase this limit, at the expense of performance

Recommendation: use the standard datasource for most queries
create a new datasource for queries with large text
