Unexpected EOF encountered in BCP data-file

I have a program that creates a standard bcp file, i.e., tab and newline
delimited, that contains a few hundred lines of data.

When I pass that file as an argument to bcp, bcp produces the following
error message:
Starting copy...
DB-LIBRARY error:
Unexpected EOF encountered in BCP data-file.

0 rows copied.
etc. ..

Any hints?

Chuck,

With zero rows inserted I expect that there is a problem with the row
terminator.  Are you using the -c (character data) parameter?  Does
your file have the standard DOS Od/Oa (carriage return / line feed)
row terminator?  This is what BCP expects, but your message only
mentions newline.
