Index rebuilding, possible?

 Index rebuilding, possible?

I guess you can say i made a "little" mistake at my work today. Inserted

a 50000 post table whith 140000 more posts that shouldn't have been
there.
But thats ok. It was quit easy to remove them. But a question that i had
in
my mind for i while and accentuated for now is if its not possible to
rebuild
the indexes (refreshing the tables) . I have no experience of that more
than
i have read something about update statistics. I will dig deeper in the
documentation about this ofcours but i haven't understand if it will fix
up my
indexes at the same time or not. So my questions to this newsgroup is
what
are my options? how can i refresh the database? What are the names of
the sql
statements i should use. We use sql server 7.

Thanks in advance

Kent,

If I understand your question correctly, then check out the section "DBCC
DBREINDEX (T-SQL)" in the SQL Server 7.0 Books Online.
