Can anyone tell me, the different ways of connecting from
Perl to the SQL Server 7 database.

From Windows:
* DBI, using DBD::ODBC or DBD::ADO.
* Calling ADO directly by means of Win32::OLE.
* Win32::ODBC.
* MSSQL::DBlib and MSSQL::Sqllib

From Unix:
* DBD::Sybase or Sybperl, requiring Open Client from Sybaes.
* DBD::ODBC, requiring a third-party ODBC driver.
* FreeTDS, a reverse-engineering effort of the TDS protocol.
