 Connection to a distant server
Hi !
I need to administrate a distant SQL Server database through my modem. So,
SQL Enterprise Manager is both installed on my PC and on the distant PC.
Has SQL Enterprise manager such a feature ? If yes, how should I proceed to
declare my distant server and to have an 'automatic' connexion when I click
on the name of the database ?

I'm using SQL Server 6.5 on NT4 SP3.

Thank you for your help,

Cyril.

 Cyril,

SQL doesn't have such a feature.  Just use the NT DUN/RAS stuff to make a
connection - SQL EM will work fine over that,
