DTS from ASP security driving me nuts!
No matter what I do, I cannot get my DTS package to execute properly from an
ASP page. The problem appears to be that one of my package steps, an ActiveX
script that writes to a text file, is unable to access the file. I've given
basically EVERYONE access to the file... The SQL Sever is running under the
administrator account as is the SQL Server Agent... Man, this one is really
driving me crazy! It seems it'd be so simple.

You don't say how you are actually executing the package. ASP code using
the object model some kind of Shell or actually via SQL Server or a SQL
Server Agent job?

Is the file remote, if so is the account that executes the package a
domain account?
