!!!! PLEASE HELP ::stored proc call dies with ODBC

Please  help

When debugging and running my stored proc it works just
fine !  I have sql 2000 sp3 client and server software.

When called via ODBC, it dies on one of the stored procs
that it is calling.  When tracing  it with sql profiler I
get a weird error on the call to the third SP it calls.
I am tracing all error events, but I just get 'ATTENTION'
and then it stops right there !
(The other 2 sp calls seems to be working fine)

Here is an extract of the trace ......
it calls the sp psp_copy_to_destination_db just fine
then it tries to call psp_del_project_from_archivedb and
stops
.....
SP:StmtCompleted
--psp_loadback

output

SP:StmtStarting                         -- psp_loadback

SP:StmtCompleted                        -- psp_loadback

SP:StmtStarting                         -- psp_loadback

output

RPC:Completed                           exec
ip.psp_loadback 'rbtan18', 'mk.ip', 'armk.ip'

Attention      **** this is the event class I get, no error

Please help !!!!
