Login failure with SQL 6.5 Server

Login failure with SQL 6.5 Server

One cause of this error is using an incorrect password. When you first
install SQL Server, there is no sa password. Check that you haven't
inadvertently entered a password by right clicking on the traffic
light & selecting edit in Enterprise Manager.

Also try connecting using isql.
