 Q&A
Hi,
how are you?
I have some data in Q&A 4.0 database (for DOS)from Symantec.
The Q&A is from Symantec, But now they do not support this product.
Data file extension name is .dtf. I want to
transfer the data to the Access or SQLserver.
I check SQLServer import wizard, it does not
support .dtf file.
Anyone knows how to do it.
Thanks.

Frank.

The only way is to get a copy of Q&A, or find someone who has it, and
export the file. Q&A has an export utility. It does not export to MS
Office. I ussualy export to a Dbase III file, and then import that
file from Excel or Access.

You should have two files: one .dtf and another one .idx with the same
first names --- Q&A will not work with just the .dtf file...

Is there a Q&A ODBC or OLE-DB provider available? This would presumably
come with the product, or perhaps offered by a third party supplier?
