Multiple SELECT statements using ODBC & ADO

I am calling a stored procedure on an SQL database that has multiple SELECT
statements in it.
On the client side, I am running VB5 using ADO recordsets. Example call:
Set myADOrecordset = mySQLconnection.execute "myStoredProcedure"
This returns ODBC error -2147217900 (80040e14) Cannot open a cursor on a
stored procedure that
has anything other than a single select statement in it.

Any suggestions ?

Multiple SELECT statements using ODBC & ADO

This is an ODBC limitation.  You can use a client side cursor (adUseClient)
which is not available in ADO 1.0, or use a forward only, read only
recordset.
