I have SQL Server 7 build 7.00.718.  It is not listed in sp3's readme
( http://www.***.com/ ).  How did I
get it?  What upgraded it?

Hi Anil,
   You have a hotfix build on your SQL Server that is post SP1...And since
hotfixes are not rigorously tested as Service Packs, I would
recommend you to upgrade your SQL Server to the latest service pack which
is SP3 for SQL Server 7.0
To answer your question of who upgraded it, I don't think there is anything
that can upgrade your SQL Server build to that version.

 Anil - it's a hotfix.  Someone must have got it from MS PSS and applied it.
