 Multi-Instance -- Enterprise Manager Registrations
Unable to register remotely a named /non-default instance
of SQL 2K using enterprise manager. Instance is listening
on port 1041 ( verified using netstat -a ), can use ISQL
with alias successfully, unable to register via EntMgr
receive the standard Server does not exist or acces
denied..

Any ideas ??

Regards

Peter

Peter,

Is your client using MDAC 2.6 or greater?  Is UDP 1434 open between you and
the server?

Peter,

Have you run a netmon on the server to verify that UPD traffic is getting
there?
