error 3208 in SQL Server log
I have a site that is starting to get this error msg in their log.  It
happened for the first time last week and then again this week.  I can find
no documentation on this error other that a description of what the error
is, which is "Unexpected end of file while reading beginning of dump.
Please confirm that dump media contains a valid SQL Server dump. The SQL
Server error log may contain more information on the problem.".

Does anybody know what causes this and/or how to fix it?

 Angela,

Are you doing a db/tranlog dump at the time?  Are there any errors in the NT
errorlog?  I suspect that you're appending a dump and the original device has
become corrupt - try deleting the file.
