Capture sp output from other sp output
I have a SP and this execute other sp. I need to capture the output of the
second SP
Example

CREATE PROC Sp1 AS
 BEGIN
   Exec sp2 'bla','bla'
-- How capture the output of this proc(sp2)?
END

Thanks Darren

Would the OUTPUT parameter not work
or
INSERT INTO <table>
EXEC sp_2

sp2 would have a select statement on the end which would end up in
your table

Capture sp output from other sp output
Assuming the output is just a query result:  You could create a temp table
to hold the results of the query for further manipulation.

Ex.

 CREATE PROC Sp1 AS
  BEGIN
  SET NOCOUNT ON
  Create Table #mytemptable (column1 datatype, column1 datatype,...)

  INSERT #mytemptable
    Exec sp2 'bla','bla'

-- do work with temp table here--

  -- when finished --
   DROP  TABLE #mytemptable
 END

Is you SP2 returning a result set or returning output parameters?
