6.5 scheduled refresh replication removing permissions on subscriber - your help appreciated

We have a SQL 6.5 database being replicated at 4 hourly intervals using the
scheduled refresh method.  Data is being refreshed, but at the subscriber
permissions for each group attached to the database are being blanked out
(except for the "MSlast_job_info" table) each time the sync occurs.

Our system is using NT integrated security and each group on the offending
SQL database is a group on the domain, on which both SQL servers are
members.  So, very straightforward there.

A brief look at all my available resources has been fruitless, so any help
will be appreciated.  Having to manually reset the permissions every 4 hours
is not something I should have to do.... is it?

Cheers,

The scheduled refresh is probably dropping the subscriber table and
refreshing it.

This is configurable when creating the article Scripts tab and Generate
button you should change the option from drop table to truncate table only.
