Trying to restore master database

 Trying to restore master database
Hi. I'm trying to restore the master database to another server, as a
standby machine.

I've started SQL server in single user mode, but when I try to restore
the master database, it says it cannot restore the database because:

"it was created by a different version of the server (134218112) than
this server (134218262)".

The servers have different names and are both in the same workgroup
(not domain)

Any ideas?

Cheers

 Trying to restore master database

Just found  out what the problem was. The two servers were running
different service pack levels - 1 and 2. This means the master db
cannot be restored between the two of them.

Put them on to identical sp's and the restore worked perfectly.

Cheers
