IIS4 Request object support IStream interface? (ASP Code: RS.Open Request)

Can anyone weigh in on the issue below on whether the following code can be
made to work in NT4 at all? (I believe the issue is whether the IIS4 request
object will support the IStream interface which will enable the following
code to work.)

If not, does anyone know an alternative way to open a recordset in .asp that
was posted to the server using the RDS DataControl's URL property with the
.SubmitChanges method?  (The above code is how to do this on Win2000 which
has IIS5.  However, when I port the above code, which I've proved to myself
works on Win2000, to a WinNT machine [with the lastest MDAC] it no longer
works.)

Thanks a bunch for your insights...

IIS4 Request object support IStream interface? (ASP Code: RS.Open Request)

Heather,
I do believe that the URL feature is only available in IIS 5.  You might
consider writing your own VB datafactory .dll rather than passing the
recorset to an ASP program.  That would be more efficient anyway since it
would possibly run much faster since it would be using compiled code.  For
more info, consider getting the book, Professional ADO 2.5 RDS Programming
with ASP 3.0 by John Papa (Wrox Press).   There are also examples in the
Microsoft On-line Library.
