 PCX images in FoxPro apps

I have an application where I'd like to integrate *.PCX images as just another
data field within a FoxPro app. There are a number of third party utilities
which do this (e.g. Espia). Has anyone usd these, and what's been your
experience? I'm particularly interested in such areas as:
        1) Incorporating the image as a general field vs. just a tag field with a
DOS file name for the image
        2) Letting teh user zoom, pan, scroll (even print) thje image.
and extra points for software which will store the image in compressed
format, yet decompress it on the fly when it's being used.
