 Filemaker Pro 3.0 questions

Hi folks, I noticed a couple of other date questions here for other databases, but I
have one for FMP3.0

I do a lot of print outs that need to be date stamped when they  were printed. Access
can automatically insert them. In FMP3, I tried using inserting the fields
CurrentDate and CurrentTime, but I can't seem to make them show up in PREVIEW mode
nor does it come out when I print them. Is there a small script I need to use that
automatically prints the current time and date when I print a report that has those
fields?

In Sliding/Printing options, the "Current Date" field is unchecked, so it should
print. And I did add the Paste Special Items, Current Date, in the script. I selected
the "Current Date" field as my selection. It's placed right after I enter the script,
before I sort my page. Should it maybe placed just right above the Print command or
something?

Are you using fields or the Text Tool codes? You can use the Text Tool in
layout mode and type (without the quotes) '//' for date and '::' for time.
After typing these codes be sure to expand the containing area so the date
and/or time will fit completely inside.
