That was an interesting approach.
To bring it back, I suggest

deactivate window hidecomm
activate window command

or

release window hidecomm
activate window command

in either case the activate command may be superfluous.

Or you could just hit CTRL+F2, which is the VFP hotkey for the command
window. FPW2.6 was, I believe, CTRL+F7. Or select the WIndow menu, then
select COMMAND.
