 PSQL 2000 status 91

Installed PSQL 2000 Server and applied SP2a on an NT4 machine.
Installed the client requestors from the server to a Win98 test
machine.  I cannot see the server engine from the workstation.  We have
PSQL 7 server running on a Novell server and I can connect and run via
tcpip just fine.  I can also connect to another Novell server running
6.15.  The services are running on NT but when I run control center
from the workstation I don't have the green check on the engine icon
showing that it is running.  Before I installed PSQL 2000, I had
version 7 running and working on NT just fine.  I did an uninstall from
the control panel before I loaded PSQL 2000.  Any thoughts?

Does SmartScout show the Btrieve version when the target is set to the
NT server?  Are the services running if you go to the NT server?  Did
InstallScout work when the client requesters were installed?

I think you must be running the wrong requester. Unless you're running
a DOS application through brequest/breqnt, you shouldn't be getting
statuscode 91. It should have been a statuscode in the 3000 or 3100
range. Get the Pervasive cleanup tool to remove unwanted elements and
copy the files from pvsw\bin\btcompat.bck into the Windows system
directory.
