 Status 94
I have a Windows 95 machine running Btrieve 6.15 workstation engine,
running a 16-bit app locally.  This app is returning a Status 94
error when it attempts to open the first Btrieve data file.
It is not connected to a server (it is the
"server" for another 95 machine that shares data from it), and
the app in question and its data are not in directories with long

Everything I see on Pervasive's support site talks about NT, or
Novell, or long filenames.

Anyone here have a clue perhaps for me??

 Status 94

figured it out myself and thought i'd post the result since
this drove me absolutely nuts.  i wish these status errors
would actually *mean* something ;-)

there was somehow a very old wbtrcall.dll in the windows\system
directory, along with all the components for the current version.
once i got rid of it and replaced it with the correct .dll,
no more stat 94.

how it got there in the first place is a mystery to me, but,
hey, so is half the tech support i do...
