 Password protected Paradox tables

Hi,

Does anybody know how to connect to password protected Paradox tables and
execute queries.

I am using Microsoft ODBC drive and I have defined a DSN.  I am using the
SQLDriverConnect function for connecting and here I have supplied the
password.  But when I use the SQLExecute function I get the following error
"10498 2902 Insufficient table rights for operation. Password required"

According to the documentation, the password supplied to SQLDriverConnect
function is supposed to be used here.

What else have I got to do to get it working.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers
Jesudhas

 Password protected Paradox tables

hi Jesudhas,

I am afraid the MS ODBC driver does not support opening encrypted px
tables.
Try using mdac2.5 and the jet engine 4.0.
