 DB2/400 - business objects
I heard about some problems of compliance between SQL400 and SQL
standard of Business Objects, where could i get some informations ?
I have to build a datawarehouse based on AS400/DB2_400, in our
databases, it's like a garbage, we don't know what we have, and how the
databases are supplied.
I think tu rebuild a new database. This new database could supply my
datawarehouse, but i don't know what database choose for that (IBM
Universal database, Oracle, SQL Server...). I need some advice.
Thank you to reply on the forum.

The SYS* system catalog views (SYSTABLES,SYSCOLUMNS, etc)
in library QSYS2 have all the information on your current DB2/400
table objects, so you should be able to tell what you have.

The only incompatibility between DB2/400 and Business Objects that I'm aware
of is that occasionally Business Objects will generate RIGHT OUTER JOIN
syntax that DB2/400 does not yet support.  However, I was also told that the
latest version of Business Objects will not request a right outer join
from DB2/400.
