 Coolest C/S database

Which client/server database is the coolest - Oracle, Sybase, Informix,
Ingres, DB2 (or some other)?

By coolest, I mean - which is the most innovative (e.g. supports bitmap
indexes), flexible (e.g. support multiple platforms, data types) and
pleasant to work with (open, gives you a lot of freedom in programming,
etc)?

My feeling from word-of-mouth from a variety of people so far is that
Oracle's strength is its robustness and portability, DB2 is very
versatile in its query optimization (but for some reason not very
popular - price may be?), Informix is the most advanced (Illustra
stuff), Sybase is a middle-ground between Oracle and Informix, Microsoft
SQL Server plain sucks (I use it), and I don't know much about Ingres...

Any opinions?
