 VFP 5.0 problem with form.picture

Hi,

The 'picture' property of a form is suppose to load a background
picture,
right ? Well, if there are changes to the original .BMP file, the form
does
not seem to reflect this.  To solve the problem, I have to save the
modified picture to another name and modify the picture property to
use the
new name. This is very tedious as I have more than twenty forms with
the
same background.

Does anyone know how I can change the property value of all my forms
in the
project all at the same time ? e.g. If I want all my 30 forms to use
the
same background picture, is there a better way than to open up each
form
and update the picture property manually ?

Thanks in advance.

Peter

CLEAR RESOURCES is supposed to fix this.

I have noticed that if you make a change to a Bmp file used for a background
while a Fox session is running, the picture doesn't refresh unless I get out
of
FoxPro and back in, at which point I can see the changes. Anders said some-
thing about CLEAR RESOURCES - is this to be issued in the app or in the
command window?

It's can be issued wherever you like before changnig picture. It's supposed
to clear the ground by removing the other picture from cache memory. See
Help CLEAR. The command can take the name of a particular cached picture
file as argument.
