 Aborting an edit
If a user aborts editing a record, how do you keep the data on
disk from changing?

The easy way is to only edit memvars, and do a "gather" if and when they
decide to save their changes.  If you really must allow direct editing,
then you can scatter memvar beforehand, and gather memvar if they abort.

Though that's not what you'd do in VFP.
The alternatives there are both easier and harder :-s
