 LINUX INGRES II Report Writer problems

Hi,

I am currently testing the new BETA Ingres II (libc5) on a LINX Box (SUSE 5.3)
and I have a problem with the Report-Writer.

The following report produces an "8815 Segmentation fault".

Maybe anyone out there could reproduce the problem on different LINUX package (RedHat, Debian, ...?

Thanks

Harald Fink

.NAME   r_abc

.SETUP
    set autocommit on;
    create table t_abc
      (
        c12 varchar(12)  not null,
        i4  integer4     not null
      );

.QUERY
    SELECT * from t_abc

.CLEANUP
    drop table t_abc;

.detail

/*
** If there is nothing between the quotes
** the report produces an "8815 Segmentation fault"
*/

   .if c12 != '' .then
      .tab 10 .pr 'Hello'
      .nl
   .endif

/*
**   Works fine.

Hallo Harald,

Uwe "JR" Jansen.

I run Ingres II on Red Hat 5.1, with glic (libc6), and I get:

Memory fault (core dumped).

Thank you for calling this problem to our attention.  We have verified
that this is a bug in the beta version of Ingres II for Linux, that it
occurs in both the libc5 and libc6 (glibc2) versions, and that it is
independent of the Linux distribution.  This problem has been referred
to our development staff for correction in the GA version of the
product.
