 Archiving Foxpro Tables (FPD26)
Dear colleagues.

I am trying to set up an archiving procedure for
my application.  I have a dozen or so tables.
and I want to allow for moving each months
records to a separate directory.  Does anyone
have an archiving procedure done?  Do you have
any comments/ideas.  Is there archiving software
available commercially?

any help is apreciated

well, i run a network management system for POS traffic doing approx
150mil trans/year. Here's how i handle the data:

- every day roll current files, zip them up to a different volume
using a subdir naming scheme, ie, dec1994\

you may want to just roll your data files once a month.

i'm not really sure exactly what you are trying to do, but if
you can be a bit more precise I could help you out...
