 BDE/IDAPI C++ Class Library

                                                May 17, 1995

Attention Borland Database Engine Developers,

Do you wish you had an IDAPI C++ class library to use in your C++
applications?

Tired of coding to C when the rest of your design is object oriented?

Do you wish that the BDE/IDAPI components were represented by C++
classes supporting full IDAPI functionality through encapsulation?

Are you tired of dealing with handles and shouldn't handles be
encapsulated into classes so that they become transparent?

There are many more questions that could be raised regarding developing
with BDE/IDAPI in C++. However, the above are just a few. Do you have
any more questions?

My company ( JTC) and I have developed a C++ Database Framework for
Borland's Database Engine. It answers all of the above questions and
more. Would you be interested in developing your applications with it?

The IDAPI\WRAP Database Framework is a .DLL and its documentation is
provided as a Windows Help file. Sample code ( a complete rewrite of
the SNIPIT sample program provided by Borland ) is also provided to
demonstrate the use of the class library. Source code to the library is
also available. Single-user and and multi-user licenses are available
for team development. You need the Borland C++ compiler V4 and V2 of
the Borland Database Engine.

If you would be interested in purchasing IDAPI\WRAP for your own C++
development, or want to learn more about the product, please contact me

Sincerely,
JS

 BDE/IDAPI C++ Class Library

Attention Borland Database Engine Developers,

Do you wish you had an IDAPI C++ class library to use in your C++
applications?

Tired of coding to C when the rest of your design is object oriented?

Do you wish that the BDE/IDAPI components (System, Session, Database,
Cursor, etc... ) were represented by C++ classes supporting the full
IDAPI functionality through encapsulation?

Are you tired of dealing with handles, and shouldn't handles be
encapsulated into classes so that they become transparent?

Wouldn't it be nice if your BDE C++ class library supported overloaded
methods, along with default values, reducing the number of parameters
you have to pass to BDE to get your work done?

There are many more questions that could be raised regarding developing
with BDE/IDAPI in C++. However, the above are just a few. Do you have
any more questions?

The Borland Database Engine is really great technology. More and more
C++ database developers, both commercial and corporate, are realizing
this and using the BDE in their products.

My company ( JTC ) and I have developed a C++ Database Framework for
Borland's Database Engine. It answers all of the above questions and
more. Would you be interested in developing your applications with it?
