Progress vs Oracel or SQL Server
Hello,

ive got to make a decission and therefore i m looking for someone who can
tell me why i should use progress as database an development tool instead of
oracel or SQL Server with vb?

second question is that we are looking for possibilities to integrate the ms
office familiy with our new software. are there any documentations how this
might work under progress? we cant find anything on that.

thanks

frank

If your application involves non-trivial database work, Progress will
allow you to do that very easily. Also, the application is likely to be
more reliable and easier to maintain.

You can use Progress to create OLE automation clients. If that suits
your idea of "integration" then you should have no problem.
